At It Must Be Love Celebrant, your ceremony is conducted by both Maria and Richard, together.

We’re a husband-and-wife celebrant team, which means you get two people looking after you on the day, while paying just one celebrant fee.

And because there are two of us, we can quite literally be in two places at once.​​​​​​​​​​

Before the ceremony begins, Richard is usually with the groom, checking in with guests, looking after the ceremony music and helping settle any last-minute nerves.

Maria is with the bride, making sure everything is ready, helping with the dress and veil, and making sure that final walk down the aisle feels calm.

Then we come together to conduct your ceremony as a team.

It means you both have someone looking after you from the moment we arrive.

Our celebrant package includes:

• Maria and Richard conducting your wedding ceremony together

• Unlimited communication from the moment you book

• All legal marriage paperwork and lodgement

• A personalised ceremony written especially for you

• Access to our resources for writing vows, readings and ceremony ideas

• Ceremony planning session

• Provision of two BOSE PA systems and quality mics

• Music playing as guests arrive and controlling your ceremony music

• Liaison with your venue and other vendors

• Support before and during your wedding day

• Two authorised marriage celebrants for one celebrant fee

Do both Maria and Richard conduct our ceremony?

Yes. We conduct your ceremony together as a team.

That’s one of the things that makes It Must Be Love a little different.

Do we pay for two celebrants?

No. Even though you have both of us conducting your ceremony, you pay one celebrant fee.

Can you help us write our vows?

Absolutely. We can guide you with structure, ideas and editing so your vows still sound natural and personal to you.

Can we choose our own ceremony music?

Of course, and we will guide you so that you can choose the songs that matter to you, and Richard will manage the ceremony music on the day.

Can we include children, family members or pets in the ceremony?

Absolutely.

We love including the people, and occasionally the four-legged family members, who matter most to you.

We’ll help you work out the best way to include them without making the ceremony feel crowded or forced.

Can we book you for the ceremony only?

Yes.

Our celebrant service is completely separate from our Celebrant + MC and Celebrant + DJ + MC packages, so you can simply choose the option that best suits your wedding.
